v2.x - Released now with Auto Snapshot
Today I’m happy to announce that Record for Aseprite finally has one of the most requested features. Thanks to recent updates in the Aseprite API (as of 1.2.30), I was able to implement functionality to periodically take snapshots of your work and alleviate the need to do it manually.
The automatic functionality is variable via a configurable delay value. It will still work in conjunction with the manual controls if you still wish to do so too.
One caveat of this automatic functionality is that the save dialog can get annoying depending on the delay frequency you have set. At this time there isn’t anything I am able to do about that :(
Thank you for using my tools and let me know what you think!
Shout out to everyone who helped me stress test this during the development period.
